Synopsis In 1968 New York City - when being gay was still considered to be best kept behind closed doors - a group of friends gather for a raucous birthday party hosted by Michael (Jim Parsons), a screenwriter who spends and drinks too much, in honor of the sharp-dressed and sharp-tongued Harold (Zachary Quinto). Other partygoers include Donald (Matt Bomer), Michael's former flame, now mired in self-analysis; Larry (Andrew Rannells), a randy commercial artist living with Hank (Tuc Watkins), a school teacher who has just left his wife; Bernard (Michael Benjamin Washington), a librarian tiptoeing around fraught codes of friendship alongside Emory (Robin de Jesús), a decorator who never holds back; and a guileless hustler (Charlie Carver) hired to be Harold's gift for the night. What begins as an evening of drinks and laughs gets upended when Alan (Brian Hutchison), Michael's straight-laced college roommate, shows up unexpectedly and each man is challenged to confront long-buried truths that threaten the foundation of the group's tight bond

Boy, I was wrong. I thought this movie would be as boring as the original. Emory from the original was the worst. It was like watching Arnold Schwazeneger playing a flamboyant sissy. So forced. So artificial. Now I realized why I disgusted so much the original. When I saw this Emory I couldn´t stop laughing. He was funny, witty, VERY FLAMBOYANT (as natural as it should be. And that fan. OMG. I died with that fan. Love the entire movie. Great cast. But above it all great direction. Luv it. Luv it. Luv what a match. Jared Quinto and Jim Parsons. Boy. I wouldn´t mess with this too. So venonous. I took an antiophidic shoot just to watch they speaking to each other. All the cast was a pleasure to watch. It was a very good surprise...

Sheldon is in a movie with SPOCK! If we could tell him that 13 years ago. At 2:21, they're wearing the exact outfits from Hangin Tough concert in 1989. Always wanted some one to write an account of this film and all those that starred in it. Hey, everybody, gay time! LOL. OMG. I loved this! I'm root for most of the bands they mention. From Jackson Five, to New Kids and now BTS. Much respect to all the band boys and their fans.

Looking at this I wonder is the new version will top this masterpiece. I love that they put Joe's son in this. He is absolutely adorable, and a spittin image of his daddy. 💕💕💕💕. Well I'm 61 now and loved this film when I was young man. Love the 2020 version also. Classic and fantastic. Both well done. So many talented gay actors reunited! This is like The Queervengers. I went to their concert two times and Danny woods concert and got a CD signature from him and his signature on my cancer free shirt and now I'm 10 years cancer-free hooray 🎗️.

Matt Bomer was my first heartbreak 😭😭😭 fell in love with him on White Collar then later found out I didn't have a fighting chance in hell. 11 year old me was crushed. edit: still love him though. Sheldon finally came out and left Amy. Thank You. I needed this breakdown.
